Visit the San Ramon Valley Unified School District's Child Nutrition website for a comprehensive overview about the district's school lunch program, as well as other resources about fitness, wellness, and nutrition.
Q: How can students purchase a school lunch?
A: There are many ways to purchase a lunch:
- Visit the My Mealtime website to deposit money on your child's lunch debit card (you will need to know your child's school ID number when you login for the first time- ask the office if you have questions about this ID). The amount will be transferred to your student's account within a few business days.
- You can pay by cash or check payable to SRVUSD. Checks may be dropped off at the office or brought to Ramya Keeran in the lunch room. Make sure that your child's name is clearly written on the envelope and/or check.
- Students can bring cash and buy lunch without a school lunch debit card. Lunch is $4.25. Any leftover change will be credited to your child's debit account.
Q: How do I know what food choices are being offered?
A: Each day, students may select one entree, the Farmers Market Salad Bar, and an 8oz. milk (either 1% white or non-fat chocolate). The Elementary School Lunch menus change monthly and are updated on the District's Child Nutrition Department website.
Q: How do I find out what special meal accommodations (food allergies, dietary restrictions) are available?
A: If your student requires special meals or accommodations, please fill out a Medical Statement Request with your physician and return it to the Child Nutrition Office at 3280 E. Crow Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA 94583. Please read the details on the Child Nutrition website.
